Thanks Captain

Thank you Carlos Pena, the unofficial “Captain” of the Rays for taking charge of this messy situation. The Rays in need of a serious kick in the rear are finally starting to show some signs of life this season. Pena called a players only meeting before Wednesdays game against Seattle. Perhaps some koombaya was sung around a campfire. Hopefully along with the folk songs, some serious “man talk” was brought up and that got the guys going.
Hey whatever works right? The Rays spanked the over achieving Mariners 9-3. Jeff Neiman, who had a no hitter going through 5, pitched pretty well and survived the 6th inning when his wheels started to fall off. If Neiman keeps pitching well, where on earth are they going to fit Price?!?! Seriously.
So here is tonight’s toast to the “Captain” for once again proving how valuable he is. Also, that every Rays fan should sent Greg Norton a gift for his birthday (if you don’t understand, email me).
